We aim to be a ‘one stop shop’ service provider on all Transport & logistics requirements in the years to come ensuring excellent customized service to its’ clients focused on their requirements & capitalizing on in house expertise we have in the trade.

A Bit About Us
At inception, primary focus of Silkway cargo would be on handling the requirements of our parent company on their general cargo importation (Ocean) through various origins.
But having said that with the service levels & expertize in-house, it will not be long that we enter the market as a fully-fledged freight forwarding company here in Sri Lanka. We do not aim to be on a list of top ten freight forwarders but we surely want to be amongst the most “preferred” freight forwarding choice of our clients in years to come.
Our company name Silkway Cargo was derived from the ancient network called the Silk Road where it was a trade route connection of the East & West in the lucrative trade in Silk. This was a tradition kept and it was a tradition of trust.
We here at Silkway Cargo carry the same concept where freight forwarding will be a tradition of trust as maintained in the ancient of days but with our target customer in focus. As stated in company tag line & our vision, mission statements, we will be operating maintaining our customers’ trust & ensuring that the service provided will be tailor made catered to our clients where we will grow along with our client hand in hand.
